Moleskine 002

Having a peek at people’s sketchbooks is a guilty pleasure of mine. I love peering into someone else’s nitty-gritty thoughts and looking at their creative ideas, whether it’s in person or on a blog. For people that are just as nosey as I am, I thought I’d share some of my favourite pages from my current moleskine
I was so tempted to crack out photoshop and take away all the smudges and grime from a lot of these pages, but then I thought that was too much like cheating so I thought I'd leave them 'au natural' with all their messy smudging!

Pretty much all the sketches are done from photos off of Pinterest and WeHeartItmy favourite page has got to be the sketch of the girl under her duvet, it makes me smile every time I see it because she looks so damn comfy! Graphite has been used in literally every page, apart from the coloured hand, purely because I love how soft and smudgy it is to work with.
Some sketches are definitely better and more polished than others but I force myself not to be too perfect with some pages otherwise the spontaneity and experimentation gets taken out. I'd really like to start drawing outside; become one of those cool people that sits in coffee shops and draws 'passers by'. The only technicality it how to transport pens, pencils, rubbers and any paints if I wanted to go all out. Perhaps a stationary/sketchbook holder is in order?
